Surreal Succulents: Custom Business Management System

A complete web application for managing operations at a growing succulent e-commerce business - still in production use today.

The Challenge

Surreal Succulents needed an integrated system to manage daily operations across multiple areas: staff coordination, inventory tracking, plant care schedules, and fulfilment workflows. Off-the-shelf solutions didn't fit the unique needs of a plant nursery business.

I built a custom web application that centralised all business operations into one system:

• Label Printer Integration: The most-used feature, streamlining order fulfilment
• Staff Management: Scheduling, task assignment, and team coordination
• Plant Care System: Tracking watering schedules, propagation history, and pesticide logs
• HR & Activity Logs: Documentation and compliance tracking
• Nursery Layout: Visual inventory management for physical plant locations
• Calendar Integration: Centralised scheduling for the entire operation
