Surreal Succulents: Custom Business Management System

This is the web app I built to run day-to-day operations at a growing succulent e-commerce business. It's still in production use today.

The challenge

Surreal Succulents needed one system to cover staff coordination, inventory, plant care schedules and fulfilment. Off-the-shelf software didn't fit the way a plant nursery works.

The solution

I built a custom web application that pulled all of that into one place:

• Label printer integration for order fulfilment, which is the feature the team uses most
• Staff scheduling, task assignment and team coordination
• A plant care system that tracks watering schedules, propagation history and pesticide logs
• HR and activity logs for documentation and compliance
• A nursery layout view for managing where plants physically sit
• A shared calendar for scheduling across the whole operation

The tech

It's a full-stack web application, built to be reliable and easy to use, and it runs daily operations for a team handling hundreds of orders.
